Coversation Week Poem

 I’m a River

Water glaring in the sun

Shimmering off rubbish

Trees dancing around me

Litter flowing in the current

Dirt from my soft waterbed

Birds singing all around me

Water hitting the rocks

As fast as the ocean current

Rubbish flying through the air

Delightful smell of fresh grass

And soil laying beside me
