Coversation Week Poem

 I’m a River

Water glaring in the sun

Shimmering off rubbish

Trees dancing around me

Litter flowing in the current

Dirt from my soft waterbed

Birds singing all around me

Water hitting the rocks

As fast as the ocean current

Rubbish flying through the air

Delightful smell of fresh grass

And soil laying beside me

Bottle Car DLO

Simple Machines

Forces and Motion DLO

Beach Cookout 2020

On Wednesday room 8 went to the beach behind the Marist rugby ground. We went to the beach for a cook out to fill in our outdoor activities and to have a good lunch. My group had Nathan, Korban, Kade and I. Our group made noodle weeny dogs and smores, we also had some lollies to have before our food cooked. To build the fire we needed to collect tinder and kindling. For our group it was easy to find kindling and tinder. To get our kindling and tinder there was a bunch of sticks behind our group. When we went over there and collected the stuff we were able to start our fire. We used matches to start our fire. I brought the marshmallows and a pot, Nathan brought some lollies, plastic utensils and the spaghetti, Korban brung the sausages and the chocolate sauce and Kade brung the biscuits and some more lollies. Our lunch was great, I would definitely have it again. Our adult that had helped us was Justine Howe, Kades mum.
