Rocky Shore Goals

Here are our learning intentions for the Rocky Shore unit we did this term. I have highlighted all my goals green that I think I met.

Learning Intentions for Science We are learning to understand that all living creatures have a life cycle. We are learning that living creatures have bodies that are designed to help them to live and survive.   We are learning that all living things are designed to live in a particular environment. We are learning to understand how food webs work. We are learning that in an ecosystem all living things and their environment are interconnected. We are learning to understand about the Rocky Shore and the impact, both positive and negative, we can have on this environment.

Literacy As part of our rocky shore unit we will also use our literacy skills to read and learn about the rocky shore and to write an information report on a rocky shore creature. Writing We are learning to write an information report about an animal. We are learning to use our writing skills across the curriculum.

Eco Depot Trip

Sup dudes and dudettes heres another awesome blog about the Eco Depot. Who had fun at the Eco Depot,wonder who. I had a lot of fun. When we were on the bus Jake and I were talking, When we got there it smelt so bad,but we were at the wrong place so we had to get back on the bus and Jake and I got on the other side of where we were sitting last time. When we got off it smelt way better. We met this guy called Chris he works for the Christchurch city council. We learnt about how to take care of a worm farm. We also learnt how to make compost. We done some cool activities but it sucked because there was only four. When it was over we had to go back to school but I didn't want to. Bye guys yous are the best.
